Colleges and universities have experienced unprecedented challenges related to the ongoing pandemic, including remote teaching and learning and an accelerating move to cloud services to meet those new remote technology needs. Please join us for a discussion on the challenges that have risen out of this unprecedented time. The University of Kansas will be joined by Nick Lewis from Internet2 and Hunter Ely from Palo Alto Networks to discuss industry collaboration around cloud security, remote access, endpoint detection and response, and security automation. The University of Kansas also worked with the Internet2 NET+ program and Palo Alto Networks on a service evaluation of these tools, working with other higher education campuses to evaluate these tools for usage across the community. Lewis and Ely will also talk about Palo Alto Network’s higher education strategy and how the Internet2 NET+ program is essential for engaging the higher education community.
